Frames engineered for the hours after six. Handcrafted in Japan, in heavy acetate and beta titanium, with a gradient lens built for the light you are actually standing in.
Sunglasses were made for the sun.
Moonshades were made for everything after.
One nocturnal. One nomadic. Both handcrafted in Japan on a seven-barrel hinge, both fitted with a gradient lens, both shipped in leather.
Japanese acetate, cut and polished to catch every light the evening offers. Semi-transparent in all four colorways, so the material keeps its depth. Gradient lenses built for after dark. The first frame we made.
Beta titanium, shaped by master craftsmen in Japan. Round, architectural, and unmistakably intentional, with monochromatic tortoise acetate matched to each finish. The frame for the person who has been everywhere and still has somewhere to be.
Overhead pendants. LED bar rigs. Stage wash. The Moonshades gradient sits heaviest where the light comes from and clears where the conversation is — so a face across the table stays a face, and a menu stays a menu.
Hand-burnished embossed leather with a single brass stud closure. The leather darkens at the edges, the brass warms, and in ten years it will look better than it does today. That is intentional.
Some people never took them off.
There is a reason for that.
The coolest people always have.
